Formed in April of 2008, by filmmakers Vanessa Ragland, Sean Barrett, and John Irwin, SmallDreams focuses on bringing short-form comedic content to new levels of creativity and depth. SmallDreams is bridging the gaps between content mediums and moving forward in a world of new media where absolutely anything is possible.

SEAN BARRETT email: sean[at]smalldreams.tv Sean Barrett is a prolific fillmmaker, actor, animator, and digital effects artist in Los Angeles, CA. Formerly from the Independent Comedy Network, where he developed, produced, and created short-form episodic content for the internet. An actor and improviser, he has trained at both the Westside Eclectic and Upright Citizen Brigade theatre. Sean has had his work on Comedy Central and has had videos featured on sites such as myspace, itunes, crackle, revver, metacafe and more. He believes the future of entertainment is new media and is very excited to be a part of it.

VANESSA RAGLAND
email: vanessa[at]smalldreams.tv Vanessa has a B.A in Theater Arts and has studied towards an M.F.A in poetry. She's been performing regularly for 10 years, and is currently on a house-team at the Westside Comedy Theatre (Bruce). She’s studied comedy at Westside Comedy, The Uprights Citizen Brigade, and Groundlings. In addition to writing and performing for SmallDreams, Vanessa is proud to be a part of The Patsy and Annette show which went to the San Francisco Sketch fest this year, and recently staged a show at the UCB. Banditos, a short film by and featuring Vanessa (how convenient) premiered at The Palm Springs film festival last year. Vanessa also loves baking and puppies.

JOHN IRWIN
email: john[at]smalldreams.tv John Irwin has experience in all facets of the film industry ranging from writing, producing, directing, editing, digital effects, and cinematography. His recently edited commercial/music video for Lincoln's new 2009 MKS won 1st place in a nation-wide competition and first aired during the 2009 Grammy's on CBS. Other commercials completed as Editor and Digital Effects Producer have won two regional Emmy® Awards for Best Single Spot Promotion and Best Photography in 2008. John's editing and VFX projects have won, additionally,11 Telly Awards in 2008 and a W3 award in 2007. In '06 and '07, John acted as Creative Marketing Director and Post-Production Coordinator for the feature film Americano, starring Dennis Hopper and Joshua Jackson, released in theaters, 2006. John is currently attending film festivals across the nation with his recently directed short film, Banditos, and is securing finances for his first feature through his production company, Robinson Hope Creative.
